ROCKFORD, Ill.- Anderson Packaging, Inc. is pleased to announce it has broken ground for its newest packaging facility. On October 27th Anderson held a ceremony attended by civic community leaders, including Rockford Mayor Doug Scott and U.S. Congressman Don Manzullo. This facility is scheduled for completion in June of 2004. 

Located in close proximity to its Rockford IL headquarters, the Capital Drive packaging facility will house 148,000 square feet of additional packaging capacity.

According to Larry Beckmann, CEO of Anderson Packaging, "We are excited about the construction of our new Capital Drive facility. Capital Drive will provide added capacity for the launch efforts of our customers. Likewise, it will enable increased flexibility in production scheduling, thereby decreasing customer product lead times. This facility will further bolster our industry leading ability to get customer's products to market faster, while maintaining our most stringent standards for quality and service".
