Anderson Packaging Launches Consumer Products Division

Anderson Packaging, Inc. recently executed strategic changes that create a single division dedicated to expanding their presence in the consumer products market.
The Rockford-based company's decision was fueled by the rapidly growing demand for beauty care, personal care and household products packaging, explained Tom Baca, president of the newly formed Consumer Products Division.
"For 33 years, Anderson Packaging has focused our business on pharmaceutical and consumer products," Baca said. "Innovation and reliability have been the cornerstone of Anderson's growth strategy, and now there is a division whose specific emphasis is those consumer products that require unique packaging capabilities and services."
Previously, Baca headed standalone divisions responsible for packaging oral care and household products.
"Bringing these functions under one organization opens up new opportunities and enhances Anderson's ability to establish long-term partnerships," he explained.
Anderson's Consumer Products Division operates four manufacturing facilities that are organized along functional lines, depending upon product type and package style. Totaling approximately 260,000 square feet, these separate facilities provide high-speed thermoforming, filling and sealing, flexible pouch filling and secondary packaging. Product blending and analytical testing services also are offered. The range of products includes oral care, topical skin care and hair care products, as well as household products such as air fresheners and drain cleaners.
"As our customer base in the consumer products arena has grown in recent years, we've added new equipment, technical support and customer service staff to meet the immediate and ongoing needs of clients," Baca stated. "Our expanded resources will allow us to continue to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction."
