Belden Named Executive Vice President and Managing Director of Brecon Pharmaceuticals, AmerisourceBergen Packaging Group

Valley Forge, PA, July 7, 2009 - Peter Belden has been named executive vice president and managing director of Brecon Pharmaceuticals, in Hay-on-Wye, United Kingdom, a subsidiary of AmerisourceBergen Packaging Group. In his role, Belden will head the European-based commercial pharmaceutical packager. Belden was previously the vice president of Sales and Marketing of Anderson Packaging, in Rockford, IL, another subsidiary of AmerisourceBergen Packaging Group.

Belden worked at Anderson Packaging for seven years, and brings extensive experience in the packaging industry. He is a graduate of the University of Virginia and received his M.B.A. from DePaul University.
